Dermcare PYOHEX Medicated Dog Conditioner 200ml

An aid in the treatment and the prevention of recurrence of superficial dermatitis associated with Staphylococcus intermedius infections in dogs. Antibiotic therapy is recommended for the initial control of infection or where deep pyodermas exist.

The Chlorhexidine in PYOHEX Conditioner works by binding to hair to eliminate bacteria in situ. Chlorhexidine kills bacteria by disrupting the cell membrane and precipitating the cell contents. PYOHEX Conditioner binds strongly to the skin and hair, resulting in up to 14 days residual action. As Chlorhexidine is poorly absorbed through the skin, PYOHEX Conditioner is completely safe when used as directed.

PYOHEX Conditioner is a leave-on medicated, coat conditioning lotion designed to be used in conjunction with Dermcare Pyohex Medicated Shampoo or other appropriate product, as recommended by your Veterinarian. PYOHEX Conditioner is pH neutral, specifically designed for canine skin. In addition to this, Pyohex conditioner helps replenish moisture on the skin after bathing.

How to use the conditioner:

• Place a small amount of conditioner into the palm of the hand, spread evenly over hands then gently massage into the coat.

Precautions

• Use with caution around eyes. If shampoo enters animal’s eye, flush thoroughly with clean water. Seek veterinary advice if eye changes are observed
• Pets should not be left unattended during the standing process as licking or inhaling shampoo foam may result in irritation of the gastrointestinal or respiratory tracts.
