Does my dog need it? Why?
If your pet is experiencing the above symptoms, you’re strongly advised to send them for dental cleaning. Generally, we recommend dental scaling once every 6 – 12 months.
This service is suitable for senior dogs with medical conditions that are not fit to be under GA (general anesthesia) for the treatment.
What will happen if my dog’s teeth are covered in tar and I refuse to send them for dental scaling?
Tartar build up can lead to a few infectious and chronic health diseases like:
- Gums infection
- Heart Disease (eg. Heart murmur)
- Kidney Disease
- Liver Disease
Is it safe? I cringe at the sight of a dentist!
100% safe & efficient! We do not administer General Anesthesia to our “patients” during the whole course of treatment. Our in-house “dentists” are well trained with the handling of tools and they are able to identify signs of subtle behavioural changes. Should there be any signs of aggression or immense stress, treatment will be terminated.
How much does it costs?
Our price for dental scaling ranges from $120 – $250 depending on the severity. Quotation of price will be done upon assessment prior to treatment. Price stated for dental scaling do not include groomings. Enjoy greater savings if they are scaled yearly!
